AESD Program Evaluation Services
Providing actionable data
AESD Program Evaluation Services are designed to help educational leaders generate actionable information that helps them do their most important work better. AESD’s Network of Nine is pleased to partner to provide evaluation services statewide and in each ESD region. We help you make strategic investments that support student learning.
Our team has the experience and flexibility to co-design and implement projects of all types. Our services are rooted in culturally responsive evaluation practices and are designed to provide credible information to support decision making. The Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is the lead agency for program evaluation services on behalf of AESD throughout all ESD regions.
Our team works with schools, districts, Educational Service Agencies (ESAs), state agencies, municipalities, community based organizations, and other educational partners. Our program evaluation services are specially designed to meet the specific needs of each partner.
We offer a range of services, and are excited to partner with you to design a solution to your learning needs. You can find more information about our service and representative projects by clicking the button below.
What are the impacts of your professional learning investments? How do you help trainers with continuous improvement while keeping an eye on impacts on educator mindsets, skills, and practices? PDforUs is a dynamic, user-friendly and customized web-based platform for data collection that enables users to access data in real-time about professional learning activities. A dashboard offers executive management a summarized view of activities.
In Washington state, PDforUs has been used to collect, monitor, report and reflect on the implementation and effectiveness of professional development by nine ESAs across the state. This includes activities reaching more than 30,000 teachers and teacher leaders served through the Early Learning, English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science content areas.
Community engagement for learning
How do you hear from staff, students, families and community members in your region about their needs and the effectiveness of your services? Our team conducts focus groups, interviews and surveys, including equity audits, for a range of organizations. This includes family focus groups conducted in multiple languages, organizational assessment surveys in multiple languages, and program participant interviews.
Evaluation of grant-funded programs
Our team designs and implements formative and summative evaluations of programs of all sizes. We help organizations evaluate a range of public and private grant-funded programs from early learning programs to out of school time activities.
