These efforts began with the Learning Management System (LMS) training and support provided by the AESD for the 2020-21 school year, which was made possible by federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding through the CARES Act to Washington State.
Statewide Empowerment
Since 2021, the State has provided funding to empower innovation and collaboration within educational communities by developing and enhancing digital equity, access, and inclusion to meet the needs of all students with an emphasis on underserved students, families, and communities.
This statewide work is focused on Educational Technology Learning Standards found on the OSPI EdTech website.
