About the AESD Network
The AESD Network is a formalized partnership among the nine ESDs to deliver statewide initiatives and services.
The AESD Network serves as a “bridge” among the nine ESDs with OSPI, the State Board of Education, school districts, other state agencies, and state education organizations to support educating Washington’s 1.1 million students through:
- Communication and coordination
- Development and implementation of statewide initiatives and services
How services are delivered
Each Educational Service District offers both statewide and region-specific programs and services with delivery focused in their region. This enables ESDs to work closely with their local districts, gain a deeper understanding of their needs, and design and deliver services that effectively meet those needs.
