School Leadership Teams

School leadership teams across the state are engaging in professional learning and strategic planning to enhance instruction for students with disabilities and all learners.

140 school leadership teams from around the state are participating in professional learning, self assessment, classroom observations, and action planning to improve teaching and learning for students with disabilities and each and every student.

Teams are increasing inclusionary practices through:

  • Co-planning / Collaboration
  • Co-teaching
  • Implementing Universal Design for Learning
  • Improve lesson design through the mindset: the barrier is in environment, NOT the student

School teams engaged in IP are seeing incredible results which include:

  • Staff capacity to serve diverse learners
  • Staff mindset and culture
