Math fluency means students can reason through problems, choose appropriate strategies, and think creatively—not just recall facts! Our math coordinators are offering a training series that applies the groundbreaking work from "Figuring Out Fluency in Mathematics Teaching and Learning" to help teachers shift their classrooms toward a fluency approach that centers equity and access.

Learn practical activities, games, and routines that develop the reasoning strategies students need to succeed.

A series of these sessions take place at ESD 113 in Tumwater, starting with Play Games and Increase Math Fact Fluency (Feb. 27, 8:30 am–3:30 pm).
