The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the nine Educational Service Districts (ESDs), unified as the Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD or ESD Network) were chartered in House Bill 1365 to support increased Ed Tech services described in the bill as digital equity and support across the state by creating a shared vision to:

- Accelerate student access to learning devices and related goods and services
- Expand professional learning programs and technical assistance on using technology to support student learning
- Build the capacity of schools and districts to support digital navigation services for students and their families, especially for our underserved populations
Our WA AESD EdTech priority area are to provide professional learning and resources to intentionally support statewide efforts around:

- Digital equity and inclusion
- Cybersecurity and IT best practices
- Media literacy and digital citizenship, and internet safety
- Federal/State funding (E-rate, ECF) – procurement and fiscal resource planning
- Integration of instructional technology best practices including LMS
