We are just about a quarter of the way finished with the 105 day legislative session.  The good news is three education funding proposals are available for public comment and legislative consideration.  The House Democrats are holding a public hearing on their funding plan, HB 1843, in the Appropriations Committee today at 3:30.  Immediately after the hearing they are considering the the Senate plan SB 5607 which the Senate passed last Wednesday.  Please see the side-by-side analysis of the two plans which was prepared by non-partisan staff.  Both the League of Education Voters and the Equity in Education Coalition have side-by-side comparisons and analysis of the plans.
